ING customers "happiest with loans"

Nine out of ten ING Direct mortgage holders are happy with their home loans, according to a new report.

The latest Nielsen Financial Services Monitor has revealed that 89.8% of ING Direct mortgage customers are either “very" or "quite" satisfied with their home loans - the highest ranking of any financial institution in the country.

ING Direct's executive director of mortgages, Lisa Claes, says the result is due to a single-minded focus on the customer.

"The home loan must be simple and straightforward, and our staff know the service has to be spot on," said Claes.

ING also came out on top in the overall customer satisfaction category - the second year in a row that it has done so - and is the bank that most customers would recommend to family and friends, closely followed by Bendigo Bank. The bank that is least likely to be recommended, according to Nielsen, is Citibank.

These stats with ING have not changed much over recent years. Their products are competitive, their service is as good as any, and their brand is very strong.
