Kathy Cummings, executive GM for Third Party Banking at the CBA, will not be standing for re-election as NSW/ACT president of the MFAA.

She told Broker news she would be retiring from office as required by the MFAA Constitution, which requires one-third of state councillors to retire each year.

Seperately, Broker news has learnt that Matt Lawler, executive GM of NAB Partnerships, has stepped down as chairman of the National Lenders Committee.

Cummings will not be attending Thursday's AGM.
