What started as a coffee between two mates four years ago is now an annual cycling tour to raise funds in the fight against cancer, and  RAMS's CEO Melos Sulicich has been up at 4.30am most mornings this year preparing for it.

The Tour de Cure will travel from Sydney to Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, to raise awareness and money to help cure diseases like prostate cancer, lymphoma, multiple myleoma and breast cancer.

"Cancer affects men, women and children alike. I believe we should all be doing whatever we can to help ensure that cancer is stopped," said Sulicich.

Since early December he has been in training to prepare for the 1550 km ride which is due to roll out of Sydney in early May.
