RAMS Home Loans has announced the launch of its mobile website, designed to facilitate the calculation of potential monthly repayments by remote control.

The website can be accessed on any internet enabled mobile phone and features a call-back option.

"RAMS mobile website is incredibly easy to use and provides potential home buyers with useful information when they need it, regardless of where they are," said RAMS Head of Franchise, Clive Kirkpatrick.

Kirkpatrick said RAMS toyed with the idea of developing an iPhone App but believed a mobile website "that is accessible from any internet enabled mobile phone is better suited to everyday Australians."

I guess they have to do something with all the spare time, now they have stopped dealing with mortgage brokers. Yep the average Australian is going to pick up their web enabled phone and say, hey why don''t I log onto the RAMS mobile website and calculate a loan repayment. Uck! Is it just me?
