Resi Mortgage Corporation has launched an integrated social networking platform, offering customers and others updated property market information and informed comment.

The new platform incorporates Twitter, a Facebook fan page and a dedicated Resi blog accessible to the public.

Content and posts will be managed by experienced market commentator and Resi's head of marketing and consumer advocacy Lisa Montgomery.

"This is a very exciting initiative for Resi and the launch couldn't be more timely as borrowers in an information rich environment look for alternative ways to source material which can empower them and help them in their decision making," she said.

Readers will benefit from Montgomery's 25-odd years of experience with both proactive and reactive posts.

"This is a natural extension for Resi to broaden its scope and help borrowers navigate their way through a market which continues to change and evolve every day," she said.

Montgomery added that innovation has always been the hallmark of the non-bank lending sector.
