Tony Versace has been appointed Western Australian state manager for Smartline partner, Mortgage Force.

Versace joined Mortgage Force after more than 25 years with the Commonwealth Bank, including the last five with the bank’s mortgage broking unit, both as senior relationship manager and more recently as state manager.

“Tony has the benefit of his extensive banking experience, coupled with first-hand experience and a sound understanding of the mortgage broking industry,” MD Chris Acret said.

“We currently have about 35 franchisees in WA and our goal is to grow that number to around 50 in the next couple of years under Tony’s leadership.”

Versace said he was confident about the growth prospects in WA.

“I believe there is great scope to grow the number of franchisees we have,” Versace said.
