Interesting banned but did a blog post yesterday, website is still up and running. Apart from us who knows he has been banned?

Perhaps with a banning comes a declaration on the company website by ASIC advising of the ban and why.

Banned for 3 years for all those indiscretions, seems pretty light on. Banned but did a blog post yesterday about the property market in Melbourne, website is still up and running.

Apart from us who knows he has been banned?

Perhaps with a banning comes a declaration on the company website by ASIC advising of the ban and why.

It is about time ASIC tightened up this area. You see it happening all the time - real estate agents and property spruikers telling people how it is a sure thing to purchase property. A lot of the time they have the valuers or developers in their back pocket all working together for their own interests and not the customers.
You can 'see and touch' property but it is not always a sure thing when it comes to investing.
There is a saying: 'Buying Beware'. Wasn't that saying started because of property?

Another "Roockstar" bites the dust, remebering our WA Broker top gun was jailed last month.

There are no short cuts when it comes to compliance and disclosure!

I know these comments on this page are ages old but anyone just reviewing sites related to this crook might be interested to know as at today 14/06/2015 Matt Georges site still stands as bold as ever and none of his victims still have received any form of compensation. Well done ASIC you useless waste of space yet again the little guy left out in the cold but I will bet the crook had to pay any related fines to ASIC they would have collected those right away.
