Brokers are set to see benefit from a much-maligned loan switching campaign

Poorley planned campaign by Choice, by their accounts they have a "potential" 40,000 clients, that would require every mortgage broker in Australia to service that demand in a timely manner. This will back fire on Choice and any broker or lender involved in the campaign.

I thought the whole idea of this campaign was to have a bulk amount of people with some sort of bargaining power to get a better rate. What good does flicking the leads to different brokers do. Just another lead generation excersise and only specific brokers will benefit.

Yep, I read this as the banks have told One Big Switch they wont negotiate rates so they are now wondering what they are going to do with all the leads. Good luck to the brokers who get the leads but it would be interesting to see how the borowers respond when they find out One Big Switch did not get them a better rate?

So we all give crap advice but when the lenders don't come to the party for Big Switch who do they turn too....yeah the people who give crap advice. So how much did Choice get when they sold their soul to the devil?

What an absolute scam and not good for consumers or our industry.......They've created Media hysteria with sweeping statements about "group buying discounts" and then these comments show it's all misleading....a farce.....where's the MFAA?....where's ASIC?.....we're going through such a tough time with regulation and yet these guys are allowed to get away with this garbage....NCCP is a joke.....

Consider the comments below, it's like a big retail department store deliberately using a loss leader to get people in and then offer them something else.....100% marks for generating leads and 0% for delivering REAL benefit for consumers....CHOICE should be ashamed of these comments below compared to the spin they've been handing out......
"What we're doing is passing on the leads to our established brokers"

"If it doesn't fit with us they can submit it wherever they like, and if they get a better rate, great,"
