A consumer advocate has flagged that criminal penalties threatening brokers and lenders as part of the NCCP’s hardship provisions could be removed

The Smart thing to do is scrap NCCP all together. We did not need it in the first place and the Nation definately doesn`t need it now. It is stiffling the lenders and borrowers a like. It does not help any of us in fact quite the opposite.

How ironic, the very rules that protect the consumer now has the potential to indict the broker and lender. When did the horse bolt? What brilliant minds concocted this mess? talk about over regulation after the fact
