Too many credit enquires by your clients can lead to eventual difficulties in sourcing a home loan, according to Clean Credit director John Dickinson

I'm gutted this was not explained to us. We built a house and in the final Stages racked up credit card debt to complete it, thinking we would just refinance on completion, knowing we had made equity. But despite a good valuation we can't find any bank that will take us on as we have had so many credit enquiries in the last 6 months with credit cards, overdraft extension, HP for new furniture/fittings etc. We can afford the mortage, but the credit card repayments are killing us and pose further risk to our credit rating.
