‚ÄčThe proportion of first home buyers increased marginally in March compared to the month before, but is still far lower than the long-run average, the latest data from ABS shows

How is the number of first home buyers captured?? Many first home buyers are now investors first, to get a foothold....and ineligible for FHOG. How do these (other) first home buyers get captured for the data as they are still first time buyers? I would suggest first home buyer numbers are a little rubbery. First time investors not having previously owned any property would in my opinion be a significant number. Let me know if I am wrong.
