The REIA says, regardless of who takes over in September, first home buyers need to be at the forefront of government policy plans

I was in Singapore last October and property there makes Sydney look cheap..

I would always question the REIA's motives. They seem to love a good housing bubble.

Finally a push by the REIA for first home buyers that isn't all about giving them handouts.
The Voluntary super contributions scheme that can be accessed for a home deposit is a positive step in that it teaches and encourages savings discipline.
This is a conversation our politicians should be having.

We don't need another way to save for a house, we need lower house prices and fewer investors in the way.
