NAB Broker's John Flavell has defended the separate positioning of Homeside products and the bank's branch-based offerings

Sorry - its not. You are missing leveraging of the NAB brand through the broker channel

My experience with 'outsourcing' the application process to a NAB specialist has been terrible. 5 deals in 2011 and not a single one has been easy (even though most should have been). It tends to be twice as much work for about half the pay.
I know other brokers have had better experiences, but I'll never use the person assigned to me again. I also will only write for NAB when it absolutely can't go anywhere else.

The Homeside brand means nothing to borrowers and is confusing. Anyway, NAB won't listen or change and despite the best commission structure will not acheive their desired market share in the broker channel.

We have outsourced deals to NAB and had a bad experience every time... our latest is trying to get paid, it has been 4 months and they are argueing that no commissions are payable yet in the loan contracts it clearly states that they are.
