Ipswich-based mortgage broker Nick Cook held a dinner for flood-affected customers in Ipswich last night, to take their minds off their troubles

The term ‘hero’ is sometimes wildly exaggerated and misused, however if the true meaning of hero is that an individual has gone to the assistance of others, above and beyond the call of a normal person then I feel that the many flood affected clients of Nick Cook and his team at Mortgage Choice Ipswich would certainly feel that the title is apt.
Nick and his team are ‘hereos’, ‘angels’ and ‘saviours’ to the many clients that suffered such personal loss and emotional torment through the floods of January 2011.
Their efforts have helped enormously in helping to get many of these clients re-established and back on the road to recovery.
The simple yet heartwarming gesture of taking all those clients to dinner at the Ipswich Hog’s Breath Diner (a business which itself was seriously affected by floodwater and now back trading) shows the kind heart of the Mortgage Choice Ipswich team.
Customer Service now has a new benchmark and it would be hard to beat.
Well done to Nick and your team. Your kindness has been uplifting to all.
