Brokers have welcomed changes to Suncorp's commission structure, which they argue is indicative of a broader shift towards simplicity

I could not agree more. Complexity of commissions benefitted no one, neither the lender, aggregator nor the broker. All that was achieved was confusion and an administration nightmare. Who lost everybody? Workloads and costs for brokers have increased dramatically even to the point that brokers now perform the data entry work for the lenders all on reduced and complex commission structures. Full marks to those lenders returning to the KIS principle.
