    Fully agree. The building sector blue collar workers have seen huge pay increases over the last 15 years or so and this is a part of affordability. RBA Gov Gen Stevens mentioned just recently that it was more than just an interest rates issue being an affordability problem. Housing rates really are still low. Its the wages costs and also the holding and application costs and green fees of term with council / approvals that are directly rendering affordability an issue. Utility costs & costs of living are on top of this but whilst we have a Labour Govt in power that wants to keep raising taxes and control its people (socialism) rather than govern the country and manage the economy (democracy)........... we cannot expect it to change.
