The MFAA's train-the-mentor program has been relaunched with a lower cost and a shorter time frame.

I have successfully mentored new entrants into the industry before. With in excess of 30 years experience in the industry why should I have to spend my money to be preached by someone with less experience in the industry. You do not have to preach to the converted.

I did the course almost 2 years ago now. I was already mentoring several brokers but wanted to expand my knowledge base. Whilst I do think it's worthwhile for someone intending to mentor new brokers, the course was very heavily based on either training techniques, or teaching people to be compliant brokers. The content on how to be a "good" broker and how to build a successful business was fairly entry level.

I suppose it will give the MFAA something reasonably useful to do!
