    Thanks for the article, however I would like to hear more about how a broker introduced mortgage is at higher risk of default based on this comment:

    "Secondly, brokers help applicants to position on the application form improving the likelihood of success. This can sometimes translate to slightly higher forms of risk."

    It seems nearly every time an analyst or industry expert opens their mouth or touches a keyboard we are seeing an excuse to have a swipe at the broker channel. Ultimately every credit decision rests with the lender, not the broker.
