An NCCP amendment has dictated that brokers can no longer describe themselves as 'independent' in advertising their services to clients

Does this mean that Politicians who call themselves Independent but side with a major party will also have to find a new title?

Talk about storm in a teacup. The CCA/TPA has effectively meant the ban of these words for many years. Brokers using these words have been subject to ACCC enforcement action in the past. Broker beware - if you're going to advertise, seek the assistance of a compliance or legal professional.

The industry is now wide open to the political correctness, and ineptness of ASIC .. where are the associations on this?
