The release of new privacy regulations due to commence in March do not fully address the issues affecting brokers and borrowers, say lawyers.

    Yes this revised legislation is just over the top. Draconian, counter productive and whatever other words you want to use. This is the most backward step I have seen and typical of the former government. The current Government needs to repeal this legislation immediately.

    would assume this is what the banks would have advised and wanted. though am sure it would have been suggested it was in the customers interest. As would have been the not unsatisfactory criteria which bars many getting a home loan due to their age.

    An you just know that the Banks will use it as a tool to load interest rates & fees even more
