Mortgage Choice's fundraising efforts in the lead-up to Christmas have exceeded expectations, helping the firm to raise over $145,000 since October, 2011 in support of its chrity partner, Ronald McDonald House Charitites.

The achievement was highlighted last week during a presentation at one of the Ronald McDonald Houses in New South Wales. At the special event, Mortgage Choice CEO Michael Russell, staff and franchise owners, presented Christmas gifts and household goods to families currently living in the house and RMHC representatives.

Russell says it’s gratifying to know that so many franchisees and staff have dug deep at this time of year to donate money and household items to assist the charity.

“We are delighted to have been working with Ronald McDonald House Charities for over 12 months now and to have raised over $145,000 is very rewarding. Our donation equates to approximately 1,600 nights of accommodation at a Ronald McDonald House for Australian families with a seriously ill child. I know I can speak on behalf of our franchise network and staff to say that we are committed to raising even more in 2013.”
