Franchise broker Aussie is opening its new NSW/ACT state office in Parramatta today. The location of the new office comes following strong growth in home lending in Sydney’s Western Suburbs.

Located at 85 George Street Parramatta, the new state office is home to approximately 80 people. More than 20 staff provide training, sales and administration support for Aussie’s operations in the fast growing western suburbs regions and beyond. It is also the base for many of Aussie’s mobile mortgage brokers.

The office will be officially opened by the Founder and Executive Chairman of Aussie, John Symond, the Lord Mayor of Parramatta Councillor Scott Lloyd and local business people.

“I am excited to be returning our state office operations to Parramatta, where we originally launched Aussie Home Loans in 1992. The Aussie business was born in Parramatta, so I definitely have a soft spot for the community and many fond memories,” Symond said.

“Aussie will be providing Parramatta city with a boost as we will continue to expand our state head office staff and broker numbers over the next few years. Parramatta is close to the demographic centre of Sydney and we will benefit from being located in this thriving CBD. Access to major transport links and routes will provide convenience for Aussie customers, brokers and staff alike.”

The state office will complement but operate separately to the award-winning Aussie Parramatta store located at 41 George Street; Aussie’s top franchise nationally in both the 2013 and 2014 financial years.

Under owners and brothers Ross and Scott Le Quesne, Aussie Parramatta wrote $221 million in home loans last financial year, representing an increase of over 47% over the previous year.
