Long-term Australian Financial staffer Alicia Carter has been appointed national sales manager, and will spearhead a drive to set the manager up as an SMSF expert.
Having joined the mortgage manager in 2004, Carter has worked across marketing and customer service. The appointment comes as the group seeks to further align credit, marketing and sales.
"I’m committed to the mortgage management sector and see a real future in the self managed super
fund loans space," Alicia Carter said.
"We have spoken to a lot of brokers already who are frustrated with the service levels offered by other providers and the lack of knowledge available to them."
Australian Financial is developing an on-line education program with the sole purpose of informing mortgage brokers of the SMSF loan process and answering the frequently asked questions.
The group said it will target brokers with similar synergies following market segmentation research.
Carter has a unique background in commerce, marketing and philosophy.
