Comment of the Week goes to 'MCC'

At Australian Broker, we love a bit of healthy discussion, which is why we honour our favourite comment each week with a lofty little title. Drum roll please...

This week’s winning comment comes from ‘MCC’ and relates to Tuesday’s article about the jobs most likely to be taken over by robots in the next 20 years.

MCC’s article is, quite possibly, the most philosophical one we have ever received. Here’s what he had to say:

“I would draw the attention of the readers to a book called The Last Mortal Generation, by Damien Broderick. Whether we like it or not, the speed of robotic technology and the pursuit for immortality will see the human species evolve - think of 1983's Blade Runner. How we as present 'humans' manage that and integrate with the 'new mixed species' is probably a much bigger issue than the disappearance of jobs. Just spreading the 'mind parameters' a little! (lol)”

Thanks to everyone who contributed comments over the last seven days and keep an eye out next Friday to see if you're the author of Australian Broker's next top 'Comment of the Week'!
