ANZ has announced the departure of its Head of Third Party Relationship Channels, Keiran Evans, as part of a wider restructuring of its mortgage team.

Evans, who has headed up ANZ's mortgage channel since March 2013, is leaving for the "next stage" in his career. He said, "I’ve had a fantastic time at ANZ. The highlight has definitely been the last three years working with the broker industry.

"I’m proud of what the team has achieved and know our BDMs will continue to deliver the exceptional service we’ve become known for."

As part of its reshuffle, ANZ has announced the new position of Head of Broker Distribution, to be filled by Simone Tilley, currently State Head for Regional Business Banking Vic/Tas. Tilley will officially begin in her new role on May 9, and will directly report to Catriona Noble, Managing Director Retail Distribution. A statement from ANZ said, "The seniority of the appointment recognises the important role brokers play in in ANZ’s home ownership proposition."

Tilley offers 20 years of running large and complex businesses in addition to four years running a family business. She said, "Keiran and the team should be proud of what they’ve achieved, in particular growing ANZ’s broker proposition from fourth to first in the market. I wish Keiran all the best for his future.

"I’m looking forward to joining the team and in particular, getting to know our broker partners."
