Trigon Financial Group has announced that, after the success of several pilot financial planning and accounting joint ventures, the group has reached a JV agreement with a number of practices.
Managing director Robert Weeks says these include an ASX listed group and an online financial services portal.
Weeks says Trigon Financial and its JV partners were pleased with the results to date, but says the key is to find the right finance broker for each practice.
“We take a very different approach to lead generation for the broker. This creates an environment which ensures that all parties within the JV win. We are seeing excellent results.”
Weeks says a “sophisticated” referral process has been put in place.
He says having major shareholders with knowledge of the financial planning and accounting space has greatly assisted Trigon Financial in “tapping” both industries.
“At present, Trigon Financial is actively recruiting finance brokers to place in financial planning and accounting practices in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. Based on results to date each practice is on a growth path to around $3M in loan volume each month. The challenge for us is finding suitable brokers.”
