Former Prime Minister John Howard will be giving the keynote address at next week’s MFAA annual convention in Sydney.

Howard will share his insights on the economic future in Australia and overseas, with its many challenges impacting on local businesses.

Also appearing as a featured speaker will be media identity Andrew Denton, who will talk about client relationships and loyalty and share his experience from interviewing a long list of global personalities over the years.

John Peters, a former Prisoner of War and Richard de Crespigny, who saved the lives of 460 passengers on a recent Qantas flight, will both present their unique insights for developing judgment and decision making skills.

MFAA CEO Phil Naylor says the convention is designed to deliver knowledge and tools that members can apply immediately to their businesses and careers and also deal with the changing regulatory and economic environment.

"The convention will allow mortgage and finance professionals to stay ahead of the game, with sessions filled with relevant and thought provoking seminars, as well as exhibits and networking opportunities.”
