National non-bank lender Homeloans Ltd has further strengthened its business development team with the appointment of two experienced BDMs – Neil Manual in Sydney and Matthew Parsons in Adelaide.

Greg Mitchell, homeloans general manager sales, says both Manual and Parsons have "vast experience in the mortgage industry" and are great additions to the lender's BDM team.

“It’s fantastic to have their expertise and help us expand our broker networks and identify untapped opportunities in the market. “At Homeloans, we pride ourselves on being agile – and, as such, all of our BDMs are focused on working closely with brokers, building relationships and ensuring our growing suite of products meets their needs and those of their customers," said Mitchell.

Manual joins Homeloans’ NSW team after working with Australian First Mortgage, initially as a BDM and then as the general manager of its online lender brand, eMoney. He says he is looking forward to empowering his brokers in NSW and providing the information they need to do their roles effectively.

“There is still a perception out there with borrowers that they start and end their mortgage research with a bank,” says Manual. “With a wide portfolio of niche product offerings, Homeloans is in a competitive position to help brokers abolish this thinking.”

Parsons has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, working across major banks NAB and Westpac.

“I am looking forward to growing Homeloans’ business in Adelaide with stronger broker networks and by identifying new opportunities,” he says.
