A non-bank lender has dropped 100 basis points from its rates, which is the latest development in an intense war on rate cutting.

Pepper Home Loans announced yesterday it will drop 100 basis points for new customers.
The new rate of 7.24% is available to ‘Pepper Easy’ applicants with an LVR up to 65%, it said.
The product is also now available as a full-doc loan with unlimited cash out for ‘stated purposes’ it said, with an LVR of up to 80%.

I love all these SENSATIONAL headlines around this time of the month when a rate movement occurs... get to the article and it's like dropping a 10kg Snapper at the side of the boat.
