A lender is coaxing brokers with the offer of marketing and branding help, in a move it said is designed to directly support broker businesses.
Pepper has launched its "The Brand Hand" campaign, which will reward brokers for settled loans with the lender by awarding points which can be redeemed for business and marketing tools. The lender said it would also award points to brokers who show best practice standards when submitting applications.
"We are really proud of how we’ve built the Pepper brand and we want to support the brokers that support us, by helping them grow their brands," Pepper director of sales and distribution Mario Rehayem said.
Pepper said the marketing tools on offer to brokers included advertising, industry subscriptions and professional training courses. Rehayem indicated that the promotion would be the first of several initiatives throughout the year designed to support business development for brokers. He said Pepper would host national seminars and workshops later in the year.
"Pepper has always been a huge advocate of the broker channel. We work closely with brokers when we develop our products. We listen and we aim to be responsive and relevant in what we offer. This year we are putting our money where our mouth is by directly supporting our brokers’ businesses," he said.
