A major mortgage franchise has named its top performing branch of the year, which settled more than $5 million a week over the 2015 financial year.

At its biennial sales conference held in Melbourne over the weekend, Aussie Home Loans announced that Aussie Parramatta claimed the title of Aussie Retail Store of the Year for the third year in a row.

To win the accolade, the Western Sydney based branch settled a record $280 million in loans over the 2015 financial year.

Aussie Launceston was named Regional Retail Store of the Year, Aussie Prospect was crowned Emerging Store of the Year and Romeo Raad from Sydney’s South-West was awarded Aussie Broker of the Year.

Aussie chief executive James Symond says it was encouraging to see so many new entrants amongst the winners.

“While some of these recipients have been in the industry many years… some are much newer. Prospect only opened its doors in October 2013 yet it settled the fourth highest volume in FY15. Romeo has only been with us around three years, and he’s now our top mobile broker,” he said.

“The results and success of these stores and brokers show what’s possible when you put a great brand, training, products and support together with motivated, engaged and passionate business professionals.

“These brokers are leading our national team in providing what I believe are the highest service standards of any mortgage broker in Australia, and the awards were all earned amid very hot competition within the market.”
