The MFAA has announced a record line-up of 62 finalists for its 2015 MFAA National Excellence Awards to be held later this month.

This year will also be the first time that the awards will focus on credit adviser members and their businesses, and the first year that state winners will be announced in some categories.

Siobhan Hayden, chief executive of the MFAA says she is encouraged by the quality and volume of submissions provided by finalists, which range from individual operators to larger broking groups.

“We had a lot of feedback that the market was busier than ever throughout the nomination and submission period last year, so the fact that so many members still took the time to invest in themselves and in our industry is something to be celebrated in itself,” she said.

The independently judged awards will be presented on February 27 at Palladium at Crown, Melbourne. There are nine award categories and a premier award – the MFAA Award of Distinction, which is judged from the winners of the other categories (excluding the Achievement Award category).

The MFAA National Excellence Awards have played a key role in lifting the standards of service in the mortgage and finance industry over the last 13 years.
