AMP has appointed Helen Livesey to the role of director brand and marketing, the latest in a string of new appointments following major restructuring.

Livesey, previously AMP director brand, will be responsible for leading AMP’s direct-to-consumer engagement while supporting AMP’s key distribution channels.

Livesey has held a number of roles within AMP over 15 years, and led the development and introduction of AMP’s new logo in 2011 which significantly contributed to an improved perception of the AMP brand by customers.

AMP COO Paul Sainsbury said Livesey is the “ideal” person to lead brand and marketing.

“This role will be key in driving deeper customer engagement as AMP moves towards being an increasingly customer driven organisation,” said Sainsbury.

Livesey brings extensive brand and marketing experience in financial services to the role from Australia and the UK, having worked on both client and agency side for brands including BP, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyd's and Westpac.

“I am looking forward to taking on the role at an exciting time for AMP as we focus on improving the customer experience and moving to a more content-led approach to build greater engagement,” said Livesey.
