Non-bank lender, Homeloans Ltd has appointed two new BDMs to its New South Wales team in a move it says highlights its commitment to brokers.

Ray Hair, Homeloans’ general manager national sales said the extra support will benefit brokers in the heated mortgage market.

“We expect momentum for mortgages to grow in eastern states and, in particular, NSW, which is why we have further reinforced our support services,” he said.

The two new BDMs, Jasmine Kourouche and Leon Stern, both have vast experience in the banking and finance industry, having held roles with both major banks and non-bank lenders.

Stern previously held roles with Advance Bank, Bendigo Bank and Liberty Financial, and has been a BDM for the past 20 years. He said he is looking forward to helping brokers meet their growth targets by supporting them with a competitive suite of products.

“We are in a growth phase and have the distinct advantage of being a ‘one stop shop’ covering competitive products from prime to specialist lending,” Stern said.

Kourouche started her career with CBA holding roles within customer service, as a branch lender and relationship manager. She has since worked in credit management and as a BDM with another mortgage manager. Kourouche said she is looking forward to enhancing Homeloans’ support services for brokers.

“My aim is to further build and strengthen relationships I currently have with existing business associates. I also want to bring new brokers on-board who haven’t yet dealt with Homeloans, plus strengthen the relationship with ones who have worked with Homeloans previously, and ensure they continue to use us,” she said.
