Auswide Bank has announced a new variable home loan interest rate of 3.99% per annum.

Auswide Bank managing director Martin Barrett says this rate is the lowest advertised home loan rate offered in the bank’s history.

“This is not a ‘basic’ loan. Our offer has been independently assessed as offering outstanding value and was recently awarded a five-star rating by the independent CANSTAR Home Loan Star Ratings - the highest rating available.”

This rate is available for purchase, construction and refinance purposes on new principal and interest home loans of $150,000 for LVR’s up to 90%.

“It includes a100% offset account and the ability to fix when you want to,” said Barrett. “Our Freedom Package offers savings on banking & credit card fees and provides home and car insurance discounts," Barrett said.
