Online marketplace for home loan, HashChing, has welcomed well-known financial services lawyer, Claire Wivell Plater, to its advisory board. 

Wivell Plater joins the HashChing advisory board with 14 years’ experience running financial services law specialists, The Fold Legal, and extensive experience helping companies integrate the credit and financial services laws into their business. She is also a member of the Federal Government’s FinTech advisory group. 

In July, HashChing announced that more than a billion dollars’ worth of loans have been received by the platform and more than 1,200 mortgage brokers across the country have signed up. 

“We’ve hit a huge milestone and we’re excited to be adding Claire’s wealth of experience to the team. The Fold been with us from the very early days and they know our business intricately,” HashChing CEO, Mandeep Sodhi, said.

Claire Wivell Plater said she is passionate about protecting and enhancing the consumer experience.
