Poll: Is broking still a viable career choice for newcomers?

A recent report by recruitment agency Hays tipped mortgage broking as a growth industry for 2013. But with new barriers to entry due to licensing and education requirements, and with broker commissions under pressure, is mortgage broking still a wise career choice for new entrants? Can new-to-industry players still carve out a niche and create a profitable broking business, or are the hurdles too high? Have your say here!

    Not really unless you have a really solid experience in the lending industry.
    Too long to be mentored and gain qualifications like diplomas.
