Uneducated, educated: Where do you stand?

Where do you stand on education?

As the MFAA's deadline for Diploma qualification draws near, the rhetoric on education is rising from all corners of the industry, and the Australian Broker Forum has become a battleground.

Last week, AAMC Training Institute's Jeff Mazzini said that brokers should proactively educate themselves if they are to be taken seriously by their referral partners.

The response was heated, both in dispute, and in agreement. Have you had your say on the Australian Broker Forum? Tell us what you think on the isse now!

I've been in the industry for 12 year, a piece of paper at this stage makes no difference to how well I do my job! I think other professionals make up their mind on your ability the moment you open your mouth...regardless of your qualifications!
In saying that I think new comers need all the training they can get, whether it's a piece of paper or on the job training.

For years now the Training Companies have only been interested in Sales. The MFAA is the biggest receipient.
