Vow partners with Pepper for low-doc referrals

Vow Financial has signed a deal that will see brokers refer low-doc deals directly to Pepper Home Loans.

At the aggregator's annual conference, Vow announced it had launched the 'Pepper Referral Program', which allows brokers to refer low-doc deals they are uncomfortable with directly to Pepper.

Director of sales and distribution for Pepper, Mario Rehayem, said the referral program allowed brokers to capitalise on client situations that they may have once missed out on completely.

“In the past, many brokers have typically turned these clients away," Rehayem said.

"They were either too time poor or uncomfortable writing this type of business because they lacked the specialist knowledge that’s required. The business just walked out the door," he said.

Brokers will not get trail from the business, but they do pocket a referral fee. Rehayem said they will also have the opportunity to have business dealings with the client in future.

Vow has also partnered with Red Rock Mortgage Group to offer its brokers more referral options for low-doc loans.

If you not comfortable in writing a Low Doc loan you must not be a good broker. Plus if you are too time poor what are you doing.
