Major bank appoints new state general manager of third party for Western Australia

Westpac has appointed a new state general manager of third party for Western Australia.

Tony Monaco has been appointed to the role and will be responsible for leading both the Westpac and St. George third party businesses in Western Australia. 

Prior to joining Westpac, Tony was head of wealth with Macquarie Equities Limited in Western Australia and has held executive and regional management roles with Commonwealth Bank and Westpac in the early part of his career.

“Tony has spent his entire career in financial services and has a strong track record in delivering outstanding results in both first and third party businesses,” National head, Westpac Broker Distribution, Warren Shaw said.

“Tony will lead both the Westpac and St. George brands helping to capitalise on opportunities and create operational efficiencies across both brands.

“We see huge opportunity in the WA market and look forward to building on our presence and relationships in the state.”
