AMB expands aggregation model

By BN | 27 Aug 2009

From 7 September franchise operator Australian Mortgage Brokers (AMB) will expand its aggregation service to include brokers who operate businesses under their own brand names.

The new services will be offered under a new trading name of AMB Origination.

Founder and CEO, Paul Gollan, said the new service to non-branded brokers would be in addition to continuing to support its franchise brokers to grow their businesses.

Commenting on the new model he said: "Over the past six years we have seen a virtual tidal wave of brokers moving towards aggregators such as FAST, Connective and ASTUTE Financial, who have all successfully exploited gaps in what was being offered by the existing players at the time.

"Three key things that brokers look at are remuneration, head office support and services provided and we are confident that the AMB Origination model delivers a great mix in these three areas."

AMB Origination will be launched at Balmain Leagues Club in Sydney on 7 September with information seminars being held in Melbourne and Brisbane the same week. Seminars are planned at other locations across Australia through to Christmas.

I have been with the AMB group for 8 years and regularly get approached by other aggregators. We have a wonderful team at AMB and I look forward to welcoming lots of new members from around Australia now that we are offering aggregation services to independent brokers from next month.

Having been a Master Franchise owner since 2002 I have been extremely well supported and my business has had outstanding growth. I can only see great things for AMB moving forward. Any brokers considering a change of aggregator would be well served to look into this dynamic and well structured business.

AMB does all the little things really well and looks after its broker. You will not feel like a number at AMB.
