Doug Mathlin from AMA09 winning company Frontrunner Consulting Group talks to Broker news TV about the process of client recovery and why it should be kept in the back of the minds of all brokers.
“The interesting thing about the mortgage broking business is that mortgage brokers don’t control the entire service proposition. They rely on lenders, mortgage insurers, valuers, solicitors, and a group of others to help them provide their services, so client recovery has always been an issue because they don’t know exactly what has happened to their client throughout the whole mortgage process.”
In this video Mathlin explains in what instances a broker might need to recover a client, how brokers should go about the recovery process, how often they should initiate a recovery operation, and explains who brokers can go to for help to initiate the client recovery process.
