Wow isn't 2004 a long time ago in mortgages..

I'm a bit baffled by the finding:

"ANZ did not participate in the market for the provision of loan arrangement services"

ANZ is absolutley in the loan arrangement value chain.. so in my view they do participate in that market.

Something smells funny around this.. no?

Oh this is an absolute joke. Of course the ANZ is in the game of home loans. Suspicious finding

If Refund was not "competing" for ANZ "branch" business, then why did ANZ require them to cap the refund?

A list of other reasons the judge may have felt it was not anti-competative

    * ANZ Starts with an "A" and refund starts with an "R"
    * ANZ is a public co, and refund is not
    * ANZ has deeper pockets than refund
