1000 brokers and only 10 and a bit billion in settlements? Who are they hiring?

    Well done Vow, congrats.

They are hiring anyone they can. Fair enough I say. I used to be a Vow broker but they could not supply me with the help I needed for my business, despite the fact that the people at Vow were great.

Based on those numbers the average Vow broker is only doing $865k in settlements per month or approx $5k a month in income. Who would take the risk of running their own business to make less than the national average wage? What a joke.

Well done Vow .... If it wasn't for YBR, you wouldn't have achieved what you have.

Eric Arzen - you can't be serious? How can you average out those figures?

There will always be guns settling around $10mil a month and then solid performers doing around $5mil a month.

Then there are brokers happy to just coast along and settle $1.5mil a month.

It's the same in all workplaces. I have worked at leading name broking firms with around 50 brokers and done mobile lending at bank land and it's always the same.

No I don't work at YBR or Vow.

Broking is the classic 80/20 rule, 20% of switched on hungry brokers make 80% of the money.

Well done team Vow - great bunch of staff at head office, very much a family feel to it. Culture is king.
