New figures show dwelling commitment values for investment housing have risen while owner-occupied lending has dropped

    Banks & Valuers combined, have largely killed off much of the owner occupied First Home Buyer market, which could be affecting these figures.
    Few Banks will now cap above 95%, forcing even larger deposits from FHB's.
    Valuers getting a fixed price contract for land & build, and constantly coming in with a valuation that's under purchase price to protect their PI position....often up to $20k....requiring even more deposit by FHB's.
    On the current trend, they risk FHB's becoming the next "Seniors Loans" group, where few brokers will position themselves for that sector of the market.
