Aussie Home Loans has today launched a new initiative aimed at borrowers to feel mortgage broking is a difficult and complicated process.

The ‘5 Questions in 5 Minutes’ campaign encourages people to contact an Aussie broker, challenging people to spend five minutes answering around five simple questions, after which the broker will be able to tell them if it’s likely there’s a better deal out there for their home loan - or if they would even qualify for a mortgage.

Aussie’s general manager of marketing, Stuart Tucker, says the campaign is aimed at getting customers who might think the mortgage broking process is ‘too complicated’ or ‘too time consuming’, directly in contact with brokers who will be able to quickly let people know if it’s likely they could get a better deal.

“The five questions are not pre-determined and vary according to each customer’s particular circumstances. Questions could be generic about people’s satisfaction with their current lender, to more specific questions about variable versus fixed rates.”

The new ‘5 in 5’ campaign will run throughout February.
