Non-bank lender, Australian Financial has appointed a new business development manager to support its Queensland brokers.

Clayton Myers will join the non-bank as the new Queensland BDM from Suncorp, where he was a state development coach. His professional background also includes a number of other senior positions in the finance industry, such as state manager for GE Money, general manager for Cashflow Finance Australia and state manager for Liberty Financial.

“These roles have given Clayton experience in auto and dealer finance, specialist lending products, prime mortgage lending and a vast range of commercial and business solutions as well as coaching and mentoring high performers and executives,” Australian Financial national sales manager Alicia Carter said of Myers’ appointment.

“Given his broad background, I’m really looking forward to the diversity he will bring to the team. He will be making contact with brokers shortly to meet all the great people and characters that make up our mortgage finance industry.”
