Lender Salt&Lime has announced the appointment of Mark Woolnough to spearhead its broker and distribution strategy.

Woolnough has more than 30 years of experience in sales strategy and leadership. Prior to joining Salt&Lime, Woolnough served as executive head of sales for CoreLogic in Australia and as chief sales officer at Plenti.

Salt&Lime was founded in 2021 by Will Kiln, a former colleague of Woolnough’s at ING. Woolnough’s appointment marks a step forward in Salt&Lime’s commitment to the broker space, the company said.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Mark, a deeply experienced and talented leader, to our team,” Kiln said. “His unrivalled experience and proven track record in building forward-thinking broker distribution strategies spanning residential mortgages and consumer lending, including asset finance, align perfectly with our vision.”

Salt&Lime said in a news release that Woolnough’s drive for growth and commitment to community service mirror the company’s goal to provide Australians with a socially responsible lending product.

“Mark’s addition to our team signifies our unwavering commitment to the broker industry, and his passion supports our vision to support all Australians on their journey to financial success and wellbeing,” Kiln said. “His contribution will be instrumental as the company continues to deliver socially responsible lending to Australian consumers through broker partners.”
