by AB20 May 2013

Wholesale aggregator nMB has announced two senior appointments to its business, including a new head of sales, Laurie Duffus and marketing and communications manager, Margaret Chapman.

According to nMB, Duffus has ‘a wealth of experience’ in lending and mortgage broker businesses, having worked  with FAST, Suncorp, Westpac and Macquarie Bank in the past.  Duffus’ most recent role was as a sales manager with Aussie.  He will be responsible for the growth of nMB’s broker numbers and lending volumes and manage the team of BDM’s.

Chapman joined nMB in May, 2006 as State BDM for Victoria and has been promoted to her new role as marketing and communications manager. She will be responsible for executing nMB’s marketing strategy, managing internal and external communications and events.

Gerald Foley, nMB managing director, says he’s pleased with the new appointments.

“Laurie brings an enormous amount of experience to his role and Margaret has the in-depth knowledge of nMB to take our marketing and communications to a whole new level.”

“This new structure emphasises our commitment to work closely with our existing broker business partners and also look to attract new mortgage broker businesses to nMB as we grow the business as part of the Aussie group.”
