A former leader at non-bank lender Brighten Home Loans has been tapped to take on the role as national manager of broker distribution at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.

Natalie Sheehan (pictured above) has joined Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s third-party banking division, reporting to Darren Kasehagen, general manager.

Sheehan brings to her new role extensive experience leading high performing national sales teams within the third-party industry and a deep understanding of the broker industry. She also has an extensive network and personal brand presence across the mortgage broking industry, with proven change management capabilities, including experience transitioning and consolidating distribution brands.

Sheehan was most recently head of distribution at Brighten Home Loans, where she worked for three years. She started her career at CBA in 1990 and has since worked for a number of non-bank lenders, including Resimac, Resicom, Better Choice Home Loans, and Pepper Financial.

“I am excited to join the team at Adelaide Bank at such an exciting time. I am looking forward to getting my feet under the desk and tackling some new challenges,” she said.

Kasehagen said he is looking forward to the impact Sheehan will bring to the team.

Sheehan “is a well-regarded and experienced finance professional who showed a great passion to join our team and broader organisation,” Kasehagen said.

“Natalie’s energy and knowledge of the third-party industry including working in and around white label distribution programs made her an easy choice to bring into our team. We’re excited to have Natalie onboard and I look forward to working with Natalie to continue to build and grow our existing mortgage broker value proposition.”
